Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is recruiting an experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a new outpatient location in Whispering Pines, NC. The role focuses on 100% outpatient cardiology with a Monday–Friday schedule, collaborating with a large cardiology team and using Epic EMR for documentation.

Qualifications

• NP must be graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner education program and hold national certification.
• PA must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and hold NCCPA certification.
• Two or more years of advanced practice experience in cardiology preferred.
• Clean background, North Carolina licensure, DEA registration, and AHA BLS certification required. ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% outpatient cardiology care with new patient and follow-up visits.
• Ongoing management of cardiovascular conditions and patient education in collaboration with the cardiology team.
• Coordinate care and complete timely documentation in Epic EMR.

• 100% outpatient cardiology practice with a Monday-Friday schedule.
