The role requires an advanced practice license, 5 years of clinical experience, and expertise in documentation quality, medical necessity, and denials prevention.

Qualifikationen

• Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing or other applicable advanced practice discipline.
• Active Advanced Practice Provider license/certification.
• Minimum 5 years of recent clinical practice experience.

• Performs independent clinical evaluation of patient records to ensure documentation reflects diagnostic reasoning and medical necessity.
• Provides peer-level consultation on clinical documentation and medical necessity for professional billing services.
• Evaluates how documentation workflows affect patient care and recommends workflow changes.
• Serves on documentation governance committees and advises leadership on clinical implications of policies.
• Performs advanced review of chronic condition documentation and risk adjustment accuracy.
