Job summary

Rishabh RPO is seeking an APM Practice Lead to establish and advance the Application Portfolio Management framework. The role focuses on governance, inventory, data quality, and lifecycle management across the application portfolio.

The candidate will drive cross-functional collaboration with Solution Architects, engineers, product managers, and senior leaders, ensuring compliance, risk considerations, and strategic investment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or equivalent education/experience.
• 10+ years of leadership, enterprise technology, and operations experience.
• Strong experience in IT strategy, portfolio management, Application Asset Management, and Application Lifecycle Management.
• Strong strategic planning and enterprise initiative leadership experience.
• Program/project management and initiative planning/execution experience.
• Change management and organizational transformation experience.
• Strong executive stakeholder management, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement application inventory management and APM processes.
• Establish application governance, criticality classification, health assessment, and lifecycle management routines.
• Manage application portfolio data, ensuring quality, completeness, accuracy, and integrity.
• Develop a unified view of the application portfolio using existing systems of record.
• Partner with Solution Architects, Principal Engineers, Product Managers, business leaders, and other cross-functional teams.
• Support portfolio governance, risk, compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze the application portfolio and identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, and investment.
• Lead strategic enterprise initiatives and drive alignment across multiple organizations.
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

Job Title: APM Practice Lead
Location: Plano, TX 75024 Hybrid, 4 days onsite (Monday Thursday)
Duration: 6 Months
Interview Process: 1st round virtual (45 mins); 2nd round in-person panel (60 mins)

Role Overview:

This is a greenfield Application Portfolio Management (APM) initiative focused on building application portfolio management, governance, and inventory processes from the ground up. The person will play a key role in establishing the APM framework, managing the application portfolio, improving application data quality and integrity, and developing governance and lifecycle management processes.
