Ashton North LLC in Lakeland, FL is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join a large multiyear highway program. You will work closely with the project manager on planning, subcontracts and contract administration to keep the project on budget and on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years on heavy civil highway or bridge projects, a related four-year degree, and proficient submittals, RFIs and pay estimates. Relocation to Central Florida is welcome for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years on heavy civil highway or bridge projects as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer or APM
• Four year degree in Construction Management, Construction Science or Civil Engineering
• Solid with submittals, RFIs, quantities and pay estimates

Responsabilités

• Support the project manager on cost, schedule and resource planning
• Administer subcontracts and purchase orders, and coordinate subs and suppliers
• Manage submittals, RFIs and change order paperwork with the owner
• Track quantities, pay items and monthly pay estimates
• Coordinate crews, material and equipment with the superintendents
• Keep permits, licenses and project documentation current
• Help update the schedule and the cost forecast
• Back the field on safety and quality
• Report progress to the project manager and the owner
