Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions is seeking an API Management and Cloud Engineer in Louisville, KY. The role focuses on installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining API management platforms, primarily APIGEE Hybrid and Apigee X.

The candidate will develop APIs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure robust CI/CD for deployments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Postman, JMeter, and containerized environments, plus strong scripting skills in Python/PowerShell.

Job description

• 1. Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining API Management platforms like APIGEE Hybrid, Apigee X
• 2. Proficient in developing APIs in APIGEE, troubleshooting API failures
• 3. Experience with tools like Postman, JMeter etc.
• 4. Good understanding of XML, JSON, Web Service Technologies (SOAP, REST), OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, JWT,SSO implementation, XML/JSON transformations, logging policies, KVM, Caching
• 5. Good understanding of implementation of CI/CD pipeline for Apigee
• 6. Expertise in Kubernetes to automate application deployment, scaling and management
• 7. Experience with containerization
• 8. Experience with any Source Control Tools such as Bitbucket, Git Hub etc.
• 9. Experienced with languages such as Python, Go, Bash and/or PowerShell.
• 10. Solid understanding of AGILE principals and methodologies, with experience in the SCRUM and SAFe frameworks
• 11. Extensive hands-on experience in Enterprise API Management and Integration Platforms such as APIGEE Hybrid and Apigee X.
• 12. Hands-on cloud engineering experience (Azure, AWS and/or GCP) building effective cloud technology solutions
• 13. Experience in cloud architecture (cloud infrastructure, storage, networking, security, costing).
