Ventures Unlimited, Inc. is seeking an API/Cloud Engineer to advance Apigee Hybrid/X implementations across multi-cloud environments. You will install, configure, deploy, and maintain API Management platforms, develop APIs, troubleshoot failures, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.

Strong Kubernetes, Terraform, scripting (Python/PowerShell), and logging/monitoring skills are essential. You'll collaborate with API architects, support 3rd-party tooling like Splunk, Postman, and JMeter, and contribute to

• Proficient in developing APIs in APIGEE, troubleshooting API failures.
• Experience with tools like Postman, JMeter.
• Strong understanding of XML, JSON, Web Service Technologies (SOAP, REST), OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, JWT, SSO implementation.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for Apigee.
• Expertise in Kubernetes to automate deployment, scaling and management.
• Experience with containerization.
• Experience with source control tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub.
• Hands-on cloud engineering experience (Azure, AWS and/or GCP) and cloud architecture knowledge.

• 1. Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining API Management platforms like APIGEE Hybrid,
• 2. Proficient in developing APIs in APIGEE, troubleshooting API failures
• 3. Experience with tools like Postman, JMeter etc.
• 4. Good understanding of XML, JSON, Web Service Technologies (SOAP, REST), OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, JWT, SSO implementation, XML/JSON transformations, logging policies, KVM, Caching
• 5. Good understanding of implementation of CI/CD pipeline for Apigee
• 6. Expertise in Kubernetes to automate application deployment, scaling and management
• 7. Experience with containerization
• 8. Experience with any Source Control Tools such as Bitbucket, Git Hub etc.
• 9. Experienced with languages such as Python, Go, Bash and/or PowerShell.
• 10. Solid understanding of AGILE principals and methodologies, with experience in the SCRUM and SAFe frameworks
• 11. Extensive hands-on experience in Enterprise API Management and Integration Platforms such as APIGEE Hybrid and Apigee X.
• 12. Hands-on cloud engineering experience (Azure, AWS and/or GCP) building effective cloud technology solutions
• 13. Experience in cloud architecture (cloud infrastructure, storage, networking, security, costing)

• Implements Enterprise API and Integration platforms strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance, and support of ApigeeX infrastructure architecture
• Perform cert renewals and update GCP secret managers for deploying the certs using Automation.
• Perform deployment of APIGEE X using existing automation written in Terraform
• Enhance automation scripts (Terraform, Python, Ansible) to support APIGEEX upgrades
• Perform periodic capacity planning/infrastructure expansion for APIGEEX
• Monitoring, Alerting, Troubleshooting of APIS deployed on APIGEEX
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the infrastructure on which the APIGEEX are deployed
• Works closely with the API and Integration platforms architect(s) on activities such as API design, implementation, testing, production deployment and support
• Able to work with 3rd party logging tools Splunk, ApigeeX analytics and generate daily and weekly reports
• Able to understand and work on automations on Google cloud platform
• Able to work and develop pipelines using Azure DevOps.
