EdgeQ Technologies Private Limited is seeking a detail-oriented API Test Engineer with experience in REST API testing, Postman, SQL, and test automation. The ideal candidate will ensure API reliability, functionality, performance, and data accuracy while collaborating with development and QA teams in an Agile environment.

The candidate should have 1–5 years of API testing experience, remote work from the United States, and be eligible to work in the U.S.

Formación

• Proficiency in SQL and database validation.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented API Test Engineer with experience in REST API testing, Postman, SQL, and test automation. The ideal candidate will ensure API reliability, functionality, performance, and data accuracy while collaborating with development and QA teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute API test cases for RESTful services.

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and negative testing.

• Use Postman to create and manage API collections and automated test scripts.

• Validate API responses, HTTP status codes, headers, and JSON payloads.

• Write SQL queries to verify backend data and database integrity.

• Automate API tests using JavaScript or relevant testing frameworks.

Work Location

This is a fully remote, full-time position. Candidates must currently be located in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred locations: Dallas, Texas; Austin, Texas; Chicago, Illinois; and New York City, New York. Candidates from other U.S. locations may also be considered.

Compensation

$75,000–$140,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
