EdgeQ Technologies Private Limited is seeking a detail-oriented API Test Engineer with experience in REST API testing, Postman, SQL, and test automation. The ideal candidate will ensure API reliability, functionality, performance, and data accuracy while collaborating with development and QA teams in an Agile environment.

The candidate should have 1–5 years of API testing experience, remote work from the United States, and be eligible to work in the U.S.

Competenze

• 1–5 years of API testing or software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and status codes.
• Hands-on experience with Postman.
• Proficiency in SQL and database validation.
• Understanding of JSON, XML, and API authentication methods.
• Knowledge of API test automation using JavaScript or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Git, defect-tracking tools, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and execute API test cases for RESTful services.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and negative testing.
• Use Postman to create and manage API collections and automated test scripts.
• Validate API responses, HTTP status codes, headers, and JSON payloads.
• Write SQL queries to verify backend data and database integrity.
