Job summary

DXP Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Pump Mechanic to repair and fabricate various pumps and related equipment in Pasadena, Texas. This role requires at least 5 years of experience in pump repair, alongside an understanding of API standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a pump repair facility.
• Experience in repairing IPM pumps and making technical decisions.
• Ability to write detailed reports for repairs or replacements.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, and repair centrifugal and other pumps.
• Safely load and move equipment as needed.

Skills

Pump repair experience

Understanding of API 610 standards

Ability to read mechanical drawings

Pneumatic and hydrostatic testing

Ability to prioritize tasks

Education

High School Diploma or GED
