Job summary

DXP Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Senior Pump Mechanic in Richmond, CA to repair and fabricate a range of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps and related rotating equipment. The role requires hands-on leadership in a busy shop and direct interaction with customers.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in pump repair, strong API 610 knowledge, and the ability to read drawings and OEM manuals. Day shift with overtime and a safety-focused, team-oriented culture are offered.

Qualifications

10+ years in a pump repair shop with API centrifugal pump repair experience
Experience repairing API/Engineered pumps and making technical decisions
Strong understanding of API 610 and related standards
Ability to read pump sectional drawings and OEM manuals

Responsibilities

Receive, disassemble, inspect, repair, paint, and prepare API centrifugal pumps and related rotating equipment for shipment
Assist with training and developing Pump Mechanic personnel
Monitor progress of repairs and guide shop personnel to complete jobs
Interact with customers and assist the Supervisor in executing all work
