Job summary

Lilly Medicine Foundry Operations in Lebanon, IN is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support startup and startup activities, bringing API manufacturing equipment into service. You will become an expert in your area (Small Molecule, Hybrid, or Biologics) and collaborate across sites to learn and train, travel domestically and internationally as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and a proactive approach to production, with potential for 12-hour rotating shifts and on‑site startup

Qualifications

HS Diploma/GED required.
3+ years of API manufacturing experience (GMP and/or chemical processing preferred).
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Lilly does not anticipate visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Adhere to safety, quality, and environmental compliance and communicate/troubleshoot adverse events.
Operate processes/equipment per batch records and SOPs to meet production schedule.
Perform daily monitoring, testing, and cleaning to maintain equipment and systems per regulatory requirements.
Apply HSE standards to GMP duties.
Monitor data on equipment use and performance to anticipate reliability issues.
Communicate status to other shifts and during handovers.
Participate in daily shift huddles and continuous improvement projects.
Follow cGMP practices and wear required PPE.
