Job summary

DSI is seeking an API Analyst to support the design, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance of APIs that connect internal and external systems. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, software developers, product teams, and third-party partners to ensure API solutions meet business requirements, security standards, and technical specifications.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, understands RESTful API’s and web services, and enjoys solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2–5 years of API, integration, or business-analysis experience.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to define API integration solutions
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Software Developers, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders to gather API requirements
• Document API specifications, workflows, request/response models, and technical requirements
• Assist with API design reviews to ensure scalability, performance, security, and maintainability
• Test APIs using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar platforms
• Support third party integrations by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance
• Work with QA teams to validate API functionality during software releases
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve API standards, governance, and development processes
• Ensure APIs comply with company security, authentication, and data privacy standards
