Job summary

DSI Systems, Inc. is seeking an API Analyst to design, implement, test, document, and maintain APIs that enable seamless integration across systems. You will bridge business stakeholders, developers, product teams, and third-party partners to ensure secure, scalable API solutions that meet requirements.

The ideal candidate understands RESTful APIs, web services, and enjoys solving technical integration challenges while improving the customer and developer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 2–5 years of API, software integrations, or technical business analysis experience.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to define API integration solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Software Developers, QA Engineers, and stakeholders to gather API requirements.
• Document API specifications, workflows, and technical requirements.
• Assist with API design reviews for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Test APIs with Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Support third-party integrations with technical guidance and troubleshooting.
