Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking full-time API 510/570/653 Inspectors to cover Michigan and Wisconsin. The role involves inspecting pressure vessel, piping, and above-ground storage tank equipment to certify compliance and recommend repairs in line with API standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling inspections, documenting findings, delivering client reports, and maintaining safety in outdoor plant environments. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• API certification 510/570 with at least one year of related experience.
• API 653 certification preferred.
• High school diploma required; technical school or college credits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal and external inspections on equipment to maintain mechanical integrity.
• Inspect completed work visually and recommend/approve repairs.
• Assist in scheduling inspection activities and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Complete customer and company forms and paperwork accurately.
• Deliver inspection reports to clients in a timely manner.
• Work outdoors in plant environments with possible high noise levels.
