Job summary

OpenTeams seeks a Full-Stack Platform Engineer to build both API-first backend services and analyst-facing frontend tooling for an AI platform. You’ll design, document, and maintain APIs, implement identity federation, and ensure secure access across environments.

You’ll also produce notebooks, reference docs, and example workflows for partner and Government teams. Travel up to 15% may be required to Government facilities; unclassified work may be performed remotely with potential onsite work in

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full‑stack or backend engineering experience with an emphasis on API‑first services.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Go, or a comparable language.
• Experience designing, documenting, versioning, and maintaining REST or GraphQL APIs for external teams.
• Experience with modern component‑based frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte).
• Hands-on experience implementing authentication/authorization using OpenID Connect, SAML, PKI/X.509.
• Experience with containerized applications and CI pipelines.
• Ability to write developer‑facing API documentation and reference implementations.
• Experience with relational databases and API‑level data modeling.
• Strong written communication and ability to support technical users.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, document, and maintain APIs for workflow orchestration, data ingestion, evaluation execution, and results management.
• Define stable interface specifications for external integrators.
• Build secure identity federation and access controls across deployment environments.
• Develop web interfaces for analysts to launch workflows and inspect results.
• Create documentation, reference implementations, SDKs, and example workflows.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and ML engineers to deliver reliable platform services.
• Write automated tests and maintain CI pipelines.
