Zusammenfassung

SailPoint is hiring a Security Software Engineer to design and build internal security tools and integrations. You will bridge diverse security stacks via API-first approaches and automate enforcement across platforms.

You’ll collaborate with Security Operations, IT, and Engineering, contributing to SailPoint’s security program while following SSDLC and compliance standards. Remote or Austin, TX base options available.

Qualifikationen

• 2-4 years of experience in software engineering, security automation, or DevOps.
• Experience with full-stack development and modern frontend frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Node.js for API integrations.
• Experience with APIs, OAuth/OIDC, webhooks and integration layers.
• Cloud hosting and serverless or containerized environments (AWS, Lambda, Docker/Kubernetes).
• Understanding IAM, Zero Trust, and MAM/MDM concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and Terraform.

Aufgaben

• Develop, test, and maintain robust security tools, middleware, and automation scripts.
• Create tool-agnostic data flows via REST/GraphQL/Webhooks for automated enforcement.
• Identify gaps in vendor capabilities and build custom software to bridge them.
• Develop intuitive UIs and dashboards for Security Operations.
• Maintain automated deployment pipelines for security controls and SOAR playbooks.
• Translate security requirements into code-driven solutions.
• Ensure developments meet SSDLC and compliance standards.
