Job summary

SailPoint is seeking a Software Engineer to maintain identity integrity, account management, and extend capabilities to non-human objects like AI agents and service accounts. You will design scalable microservices in a multi-tenant SaaS environment, collaborate in an agile team, and help drive reliability, monitoring, and rapid delivery.

The role emphasizes building robust APIs, cloud-native services on AWS, and mentoring teammates while contributing to on-call and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• BS in Computer Science or related field.
• FedRamp Capable – US citizen.
• 2+ years Java and Spring Boot experience.
• 2+ years SaaS production support on AWS.
• 1+ years of event-driven architecture experience.
• Experience developing microservices in a multi-tenant SaaS application.
• Experience implementing RESTful APIs for an API-first architecture.
• Experience using SQL/NoSQL, EKS, Kafka, Redis.
• Experience using monitoring and alerting tools.
• Experience with remote teams.
• Great communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy robust microservices for medium‑to‑high complexity features.
• Set high standards for code/design reviews and quality.
• Adopt an iterative, CI/CD‑driven delivery mindset.
• Collaborate in an agile environment on designs, refinements, reviews, tests, and issues.
• Develop/test frameworks and plans to improve quality and delivery.
• Maintain SailPoint culture and participate in OnCall/TechOps.
• Implement monitoring, dashboards, and logging to detect issues.
• Ramp up on ISC product knowledge through training plans.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical solutions.
