Job summary

SailPoint is seeking a Product Security Engineer to strengthen our security program across the software development lifecycle. You will partner with Engineering and security teams to identify risks, implement secure deployment practices, and drive remediation at scale.

You will apply expertise in SAST/DAST, CI/CD security, threat modeling, and secure-by-design principles, while leveraging AI tools to improve security productivity and resilience across SailPoint’s products.

Qualifications

• Experience with security testing tools (SAST, SCA, DAST, container security scanners).
• CI/CD security controls and DevSecOps practices required.
• Programming experience in Python/Go/Java/JavaScript/TypeScript/Ruby.
• Knowledge of AI security risks and AI-enabled applications.
• Threat modeling, secure architecture, and vulnerability management expertise.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering to identify and mitigate security risks across the SDLC.
• Support threat modeling activities and implement security controls.
• Define secure coding standards and secure-by-design principles.
• Coordinate security testing initiatives and prioritize remediation by risk.
