UCHealth UCHlth Fam Med Ctr Ft Collins, US:CO:Fort Collins is seeking a Donor Center Technician to perform whole blood collection and apheresis procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements. You will coordinate procedures involved in donor care, evaluation, collection, processing of products, and support mobile blood drives in the community.

The role is onsite with a full-time schedule (80 hours per pay period) and pay between $19.67 and $25.57 per hour based on relevant experience.

Competenze

High School diploma or GED.
Completed phlebotomy training program.
BLS Healthcare Provider certification.

Mansioni

Qualifies donors according to established regulatory and laboratory guidelines through questionnaire review and clarification as well as evaluation of vitals.
Performs waived and moderate complexity testing in order to ensure the pre-donation safety of donors.
Executes whole blood collections and apheresis procurement of platelets, plasma, and red blood cells in accordance with AABB and FDA guidelines.
Processes, labels, stores, and ships blood components in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
