UCHealth is seeking a Phlebotomy Donor Center Specialist to perform whole blood collection and apheresis procedures at the Fort Collins facility. The role involves mobilizing to host blood drives and coordinating donor processing in compliance with AABB and FDA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Completed phlebotomy training program through a health careers program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.

Responsabilités

• Qualifies donors according to regulatory and laboratory guidelines via questionnaire review and vitals evaluation.
• Performs waived and moderate complexity testing to ensure donor safety pre-donation.
• Executes whole blood collections and apheresis procurement of platelets, plasma, and red blood cells per AABB and FDA guidelines.
• Processes, labels, stores, and ships blood components per regulatory guidelines.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and can work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
