Job summary

A community blood bank in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Apheresis Automation Phlebotomist. Qualifications

• Must be able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proficient in a variety of computer software applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomies and collect blood from donors.
• Collect blood using automated instruments.
• Determine donor eligibility based on interviews and physical process.

Skills

Experience with automated blood collections (using Trima or Alyx)

Excellent teamwork skills

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Education

High school diploma or GED
