Job summary

OneBlood is seeking a full-time phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy and donor collection in a hospital support setting. You will obtain donor medical histories and vitals, ensuring safety and accuracy as per FDA and AABB standards.

Excellent customer service is essential, and you may help recruit apheresis and bone marrow donors. The role requires open availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, understand and follow documents and safety rules.
• Basic computer skills and ability to write routine reports.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical history and vitals from donors and/or patients.
• Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood or blood components.
• Displays excellent customer service and professionalism towards all customers.
• Assists with recruitment of potential apheresis and bone marrow donors.
