Job summary
NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Apheresis and Cellular Therapy team in New York, NY. This role blends specialized apheresis procedures with infusion nursing for patients with hematologic malignancies and complex oncology treatments.
You will perform stem cell collections, leukapheresis and cellular therapies, administer blood products and biologic agents, monitor toxicities, educate patients and caregivers, and uphold safety and regulatory standards in
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
- New York State RN license or eligibility required.
- BCLS certification from AHA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform therapeutic and collection-based apheresis procedures.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing BMT and cellular therapy.
- Administer and monitor infusion therapies, blood products, and biologic agents.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and follow-up.
- Maintain safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing competency training.
