Job summary
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Apheresis and Cellular Therapy team. You will perform therapeutic and collection-based apheresis procedures, provide infusion nursing care, and support patients through hematologic malignancies, stem cell transplant, and CAR-T therapies.
This full-time role involves four 10-hour shifts per week on site in New York, NY, with a focus on safety and high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing and NYS RN licensure required.
- Experience with apheresis, oncology infusion, and cellular therapies preferred.
- Strong IV skills essential; ability to manage complex therapies.
Responsibilities
- Perform therapeutic and collection-based apheresis procedures including stem cell collections, leukapheresis, and ECP.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for BMT and cellular therapy patients.
- Administer infusion therapies, blood products, and supportive medications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
- Monitor for treatment-related toxicities and manage complications.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Maintain regulatory standards and participate in competency training.
