Berger Communities in Lancaster, PA is hiring a Porter for 202 Queen Apartments. The role focuses on maintaining clean common areas, grounds, and exterior spaces to keep the community attractive for residents.

You'll work Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with pay of $15-$16 per hour biweekly and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, FSAs, disability and life insurance, 401k with match, tuition assistance, referral bonus, and rent discounts starting day one.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairways, leasing offices, laundry rooms, and other shared spaces
• Keep building entrances, sidewalks, parking areas, and grounds clean and free of debris
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and pressure wash community walkways and common areas
• Collect and properly dispose of trash and recycling throughout the property
• Clean windows, doors, walls, and other interior and exterior surfaces
• Assist with apartment turnover cleaning and move-in preparation as needed
• Replace light bulbs and assist with other light maintenance tasks
• Participate in seasonal property upkeep, including snow removal and salting walkways
• Use cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely
• Report property damage, safety concerns, or maintenance issues to the Service Manager
• Assist the maintenance team with property upkeep and other tasks as needed
