Job summary

ResProp Management is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments for move-in and maintain attractive common areas across our communities in Fort Worth, TX.

You will handle routine maintenance, respond to work orders, coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor, and deliver courteous service to residents and vendors while upholding safety standards. This role requires hands-on skills, physical stamina, and willingness to work weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general maintenance or repair experience, preferably in multifamily housing.
• Trade skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools or appliances.
• Trade Licensing preferred but not required.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the community.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Dependable transportation and rotating on-call schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Perform maintenance on common areas (pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking, etc.) to maintain safety and aesthetics.
• Respond to and complete work orders promptly.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maintain property value.
• Identify safety hazards and report to supervisor.
• Utilize software to track work and performance.
• Be part of a team in a dynamic environment.
