Job summary

Aspen Square Management in Shawnee, KS is seeking an Apartment Make-Ready Technician for Lenox West. You will prepare homes for new residents, performing basic remodeling, carpentry, painting, and appliance installations to meet company standards.

Candidates should have experience in residential remodeling, basic plumbing/electrical, and the ability to work in a team, meet deadlines, and be on-call. We offer competitive pay and benefits, with growth potential across our nationwide properties.

Qualifications

• Knowledge with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, residential maintenance, and installation of appliances.
• Experience with residential remodeling.
• Be able to meet deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Ensure apartments are up to company standard for future residents
• Maintain the grounds of the apartment community as needed
• Repair drywall and paint interior walls
• Change out light fixtures, outlets/switches, plumbing fixtures
• Install new countertops, reface cabinets, and install new hardware
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure proper function before new residents move in
• Provide own hand tools
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, and be able to go off-site
• Stand or walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
