Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to turn vacant apartment homes into market-ready units. You will perform repairs, painting, caulking, and general maintenance to meet company standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting sheetrock, maintaining grounds, and supporting cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts. You’ll follow safety policies and complete required training and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Completes repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in by following the community’s make-ready checklist.
• Caulks and seals around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspects sheetrock for damage and performs repairs or replacements as needed.
• Performs touch-up paints for vacant and occupied units as directed by the supervisor or community manager.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs and signage, and general upkeep.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.
• Completes make-ready checklist and maintenance documentation in a timely manner.
• Complies with safety policies, attends safety meetings, and completes required OSHA training.
• Demonstrates customer service by addressing resident questions and responding to maintenance concerns.
