Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to turn vacant apartment homes into market-ready conditions. The role requires performing technical repairs, caulking, painting, and basic groundskeeping, while adhering to safety policies and safety meetings.

You will handle work orders efficiently and support cost-control initiatives. The position requires flexibility, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and may involve travel between properties as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical and mechanical work to prepare vacant units for market readiness.
• Customer service skills to assist residents and address concerns.
• Safety training and compliance with OSHA and related safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Completes repairs and improvements to apartment homes before resident move-in.
• Caulks and seals around windows, sinks, toilets, baths, showers.
• Inspects sheetrock for damage and repairs as needed.
• Performs touch-up paints on vacant and occupied units per instructions.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, cleans, and paints curbs/signage as needed.
• Participates in cost-containment by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
