Job summary

RHF Management, Inc. in Los Alamitos, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve the 71-unit senior community.

You will maintain buildings, units, and grounds, respond to service requests, and participate in turnover and preventive maintenance under supervision. The role requires 2+ years of maintenance experience, knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, tool proficiency, and basic English.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in the maintenance field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with RealPage Maintenance Facilities software.
• Basic proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior of the 71-unit community by daily janitorial and general maintenance.
• Complete unit turnovers within 3 days of move-out.
• Perform painting and preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Assist with inspections of apartments and systems.
• Respond to work orders and document details in OneSite.
• Address maintenance emergencies, including after-hours as needed.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor on landscape contractor oversight.
• Follow safety and compliance protocols daily.
• Provide excellent resident and staff service.
• Keep maintenance shop clean and organized.
• Maintain property security and control of keys.
