RHF is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve the condition and appearance of a 65-unit community in Houston, TX. The role supports daily operations, handles service requests, assists with turnover, and participates in preventive maintenance.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and service-oriented, with strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and using hand/power tools. Experience with RealPage is a plus.

Competenze

• Minimum of 2 years in the building maintenance field highly desired.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools for repair and maintenance tasks.
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and endure prolonged standing and repetitive activities.
• Basic understanding of leadership principles and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Good communication in English for effective collaboration.

Mansioni

• Maintain interior and exterior appearance of the buildings and property.
• Complete unit turnovers within 3 days of move-out.
• Perform painting and preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Assist in apartment and systems inspections as required.
• Respond to work orders for units and common areas and log in OneSite.
• Address maintenance emergencies, including after-hours.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor landscape contractor for quality work.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations including REAC/NSPIRE inspections.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and internal stakeholders.
• Keep the maintenance shop organized and secure inventory and tools.
• Maintain property security and control of keys.
