Job summary

Interstate Equities Corporation (IEC) seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician for our 149-unit Mountian View, California community. You will perform groundskeeping, assist with maintenance tasks, and ensure safety and resident satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of apartment-community maintenance, familiarity with OSHA guidelines, and strong customer-service skills. Work Tue-Sat 8am-5pm with on-call emergency coverage, and enjoy a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Janitorial, familiar with OSHA guidelines.
Facilities maintenance experience.
At least 2-3 years of working experience at an apartment community.
Customer service oriented.
Availability to work Tuesdays - Saturdays.
Available for after-hours emergencies, overtime, and Regional support.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of property grounds, leasing office, all common areas and amenities.
Walk grounds to pick up litter and pet waste.
Sweep dumpster areas.
Assist maintenance and office staff with tasks such as posting property notices.
Comply with safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
Recognize hazards and propose elimination methods.
Demonstrate customer service skills with residents and others.
Ad-hoc assignments as needed.
