IEC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a 144-unit apartment community in Redwood City, California. The role requires 2+ years of maintenance experience, strong communication with residents and team, and the ability to work Tuesday-Saturday 8am-5pm with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience at an apartment community.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Janitorial, familiar with OSHA guidelines.
• Facilities maintenance experience.
• Customer service oriented.
• Availability to work Tuesday - Saturday.
• On-call availability for after-hours emergencies.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and performs service requests within established time frames.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant units and turnovers.
• Comply with safety procedures and maintain clean work areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of property grounds and common areas.
• Demonstrate positive interactions with customers and team members.
• Be available for after-hours emergencies and on-call duties.
• Ad-hoc assignments as needed.
