Interstate Equities Corporation (IEC) seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician for our 149-unit Mountian View, California community. You will perform groundskeeping, assist with maintenance tasks, and ensure safety and resident satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of apartment-community maintenance, familiarity with OSHA guidelines, and strong customer-service skills. Work Tue-Sat 8am-5pm with on-call emergency coverage, and enjoy a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Janitorial, familiar with OSHA guidelines.
• Facilities maintenance experience.
• At least 2-3 years of working experience at an apartment community.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of property grounds, leasing office, all common areas and amenities.
• Walk grounds to pick up litter and pet waste.

• Assist maintenance and office staff with tasks such as posting property notices.
• Comply with safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
• Recognize hazards and propose elimination methods.

Position Summary:

IEC is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to work at our 149-unit apartment community inMountian View, California. The Maintenance Technician must have experience working in an apartment community and strong communication and follow-up skills, both with residents and other team members. Self-starter, work well with a team, take initiative as well as ability to take direction from others. The schedule for this position isTuesdays - Saturdays from 8am-5pm and requires the ability to be on-call in case of emergency.

General Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of property grounds, leasing office, all common areas, all amenities, to include fitness center, fire pit areas, pool, and BBQ.
• Walk the grounds to pick up litter, pet waste, etc.
• Sweep the dumpster areas.
• Assist maintenance and office staff with various tasks such as posting property correspondence to tenants, such as resident events, and others as assigned.
• Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas.
• Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
• Demonstrate customer services skills by treating residents and others with respect.
• Ad-hoc assignments as needed.

Requirements:
