Job summary

IEC Property Services Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage general repairs, make-ready units, and upkeep at a 68-unit apartment community in San Jose, CA. The role requires experience in apartment maintenance, strong communication with residents and staff, and the ability to work a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule with on-call duties.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, familiarity with OSHA guidelines, and 2–3 years of property maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Facilities maintenance experience in an apartment community.
• Customer service oriented with residents and team members.
• Availability for Monday–Friday 8am–5pm and on-call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform service requests within established time frames.
• Complete make-ready work to prepare vacant units for leasing.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards on property.
• Ensure cleanliness of grounds and common areas.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Handle ad-hoc assignments as required.
