Job summary

AIR Communities is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to service residents at Haven 124. The role requires hands-on maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Proficient in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day weeks as needed.
• Reliable mode of transportation to respond to emergencies on-call after hours.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents and assistance to team members.
• Follow AIR’s process for completion of basic apartment turns to make the apartment ready for the next resident’s move-in experience.
• With general direction, complete resident requested repairs and routine maintenance (e.g. troubleshoot and repair/replace plumbing, basic electrical components, HVAC equipment, and appliances).
• May provide functional/technical direction and training to other Maintenance Technicians and support the development of technical skills.
• May assist with managing vendor quality and may perform move-in/move-out inspections.
• Responsibilities vary based on team member skillset and community needs, mechanical systems, and season.
