Job summary

Capano Residential in Lewes, DE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs and to implement preventative maintenance across multifamily properties.

You will maintain equipment, inspect units, respond to emergencies, and prepare vacant units for move-in. Candidates should have basic tools, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills and basic knowledge of construction and repair processes.
• High school diploma or GED required; 6 months of related experience acceptable.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, own transportation and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary.
• Implement preventative maintenance measures.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Complete inspections of buildings, units, office and amenity space as needed.
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
• Perform other maintenance duties as requested.
