Job summary

CAHEC MANAGEMENT INC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Calhoun, GA to keep the property safe, clean, and in good working condition. This hands-on role handles routine maintenance, repairs, apartment turns, and preventative tasks while responding to resident service requests promptly.

A typical day includes responding to work orders, preparing apartments for move-ins, inspecting the property, completing tasks, and coordinating with vendors. On-call after hours is part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, maintenance instructions, and safety procedures.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Ability to successfully complete required training and certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders in a timely manner.
• Prepare apartments for new move-ins and inspect the property.
• Complete maintenance tasks and perform preventative maintenance.
• Work with vendors for external repairs as needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
