Job summary

Aventure Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Worker to maintain safe, clean, functional, and well-presented community housing properties. The role involves routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and general property upkeep while providing respectful and professional service.

Responsibilities include basic carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, cleaning; general upkeep such as mowing lawns, raking, and snow removal; and documenting work in YARDI. Travel to NW Iowa properties may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance and light construction.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Computer experience required.
• Exerting up to 80-100 pounds of force on occasion up to 30 pounds frequently.
• May require extended hours during peak periods.
• Will need to be available for travel.
• Must provide proof of liability insurance and valid driver’s license for same.

Responsibilities

• Basic carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, cleaning.
• General upkeep, mow lawns, rake, snow removal.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Accurately document work performed work order, including parts and resident charges in YARDI.
• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklist.
• Document needed services and repairs in YARDI.
• Routinely perform duties to restore apartments to “make-ready” status and document in YARDI.
• Drive to other properties in NW Iowa.
