Job summary

Megan Properties Management in Clio, Alabama is seeking a reliable Maintenance Worker to manage repairs and upkeep for occupied and vacant apartments and amenities.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, performing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting and lighting repairs as needed, preparing units for tours and move-ins, conducting inspections, and keeping supplies and tools organized. A valid driver’s license and background check are required.

• Track and complete work orders on occupied and vacant apartments, and amenities.
• Perform timely repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (if licensed), carpentry, drywall, painting and lighting.
• Prepare apartments for tours and move-ins by lock changes, move-out inspections, trash-out, punch-out, and scheduling vendors where necessary.
• Assist with property inspections such as semi-annual, fire safety, pest control, etc.
• Keep records, stock and inventory of maintenance supplies and submit orders when materials are needed.
• Keep tools, supplies and work area clean and functioning properly.
• Complete any additional projects as directed by the Property Manager.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.

• Preparing apartments for tour/new resident move ins by conducting lock changes, move-out inspections, trash out, punch out, scheduling vendors where necessary.
• Assist with property inspections such as semi-annual, fire safety, pest control, etc.
• Keep records stock and inventory of maintenance supplies and submit orders when materials are needed.
• Keep tools, supplies and work area clean and functioning properly.
• Complete any additional projects as requested under the direction of the Property manager.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.
