Job summary

Megan Properties Management in Louisville, KY is seeking a maintenance technician to manage upkeep across occupied and vacant units. The role involves repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC if licensed), carpentry, painting, and preparing apartments for new resident move-ins including lock changes and inspections.

You will assist with semi-annual inspections, pest control, and ensure inventory and supplies are stocked.

Responsibilities

• Track and complete work orders on occupied and vacant apartments, and amenities.
• Perform timely repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (if licensed), carpentry, sheet rocking, painting, lighting, etc.
• Preparing apartments for tour/new resident move ins by conducting lock changes, move-out inspections, trash out, punch out, scheduling vendors where necessary.
• Assist with property inspections such as semi-annual, fire safety, pest control, etc.
• Keep records stock and inventory of maintenance supplies and submit orders when materials are needed.
• Keep tools, supplies and work area clean and functioning properly.
• Complete any additional projects as requested under the direction of the Property manager.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.
