Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Summerville, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the property safe, clean, and in good working condition. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, apartment turns, and preventative maintenance while responding to resident service requests.

A typical day includes answering work orders, preparing apartments for move-ins, inspecting the property, completing maintenance tasks, and coordinating with vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Apartment/ facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Ability to complete required training and certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and service requests.
• Prepare apartments for new move-ins.
• Inspect the property and complete maintenance tasks.
• Work with vendors as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
