Job summary

Ovation is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician in Seattle to maintain apartment properties, handle HVAC, plumbing and electrical issues, and ensure curb appeal. You will respond to service requests within 24 hours and be available for 24-hour emergency calls. A valid driver's license and HVAC certification are required.

Experience in apartment maintenance and strong customer service are essential to keep residents satisfied and property standards high.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two years related apartment maintenance or related field experience.
• HVAC Certification. Swimming Pool not required, but a plus.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the property to ensure good working order and curb appeal while delivering superior resident service.
• Diagnose and solve maintenance issues in apartments, exteriors, and common areas (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools).
• Complete service requests within 24 hours and respond to 24-hour emergency calls.
• Prepare apartments for new residents promptly following standards.
• Inspect and maintain building systems and report problems to supervisor or property manager.
