Job summary

Mark-Taylor in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Lead Service Technician to help keep our apartment communities running smoothly. You will handle maintenance repairs, support make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards, and contribute to a five-star service culture that makes our communities feel like home.

The role requires knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and safety standards, with EPA/CPO certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, landscaping, appliances and OSHA standards.
• One or more industry certifications (EPA, HVAC, CPO or similar) preferred.
• Service orientation and basic English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintain adequate supply.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall issues.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units; daily pool care.
• Inspect for safety hazards and assist in on-call coverage as needed.
• Train and mentor other service technicians and maintain inventory.
