Job summary

Arbor Property Management, Inc. in Boerne, Texas, is seeking an Assistant Maintenance to keep our apartment communities safe, attractive, and well-functioning. You will perform general repairs, make-readies, preventive maintenance, grounds care, and support the Lead Maintenance and Property Manager.

This role emphasizes customer service to residents, on-call duties, and teamwork to meet safety and quality standards. A valid driver’s license and basic tools are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years apartment/general maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; EPA Type II preferred; CPO preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally, performing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general maintenance repairs.
• Prepare vacant apartments to Arbor make-ready standards and assist with preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, pool, landscaping, exterior lighting, and curb appeal; prepare the property for seasonal weather events.
• Assist with inspections, inventory, contractor coordination, meetings, training, and other assigned duties; participate in on-call schedule and respond to emergencies as required.
