Job summary

Tipton Asset Group in Dallas, TX is seeking a hands-on Assistant Maintenance Technician to keep our apartment community well-maintained and inviting for current and prospective residents. You will perform day-to-day maintenance, handle on-call emergencies 24/7, assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative tasks, and coordinate basic grounds work.

High school diploma and HVAC certification are required, along with owning your tools; Mondays through Fridays, with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Multi-family experience and HVAC certification required.
• Provide/use of own tools.
• Ability to maintain professional demeanor with residents and staff.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Grounds work such as trash pickup and light landscaping.
• Assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative maintenance.
