Job summary

PLK Communities is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to care for our residential apartment communities in Hamilton, OH. You’ll perform property maintenance, prepare apartments for new residents, and handle a variety of trades to keep our properties in top condition.

The role requires hands-on experience in maintenance or handyman work, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to respond to after-hours calls on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Maintenance or handyman experience required.
• Apartment/multi-family maintenance experience a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to respond to afterhours emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform any and all property maintenance needs.
• Prepare apartments for new residents.
• Completes work orders.
• Basic Carpentry.
• Plumbing.
• Electrical Systems.
• Mechanical Systems.
• Small Appliance Repair.
• Maintenance of the property grounds and common areas.
• HVAC service and repair (trainable).
• Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash.
