Job summary

Thies & Talle Management, Inc. is seeking a Full-time Maintenance Technician to service five apartment communities in MN, including Monticello and surrounding areas. The role covers repairs, preventive maintenance, landscaping, and turnover work with on-call duties and excellent benefits.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2–3 years of maintenance experience, and strong skills in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma and 2–3 years of experience as a general maintenance mechanic or related occupation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Formal maintenance training or certifications are desirable, especially boiler systems if applicable.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair apartment common areas, units, and property systems.
Perform lawn care, seasonal maintenance, and replace/repair hardware as needed.
Repair and maintain electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems; troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
Assist in apartment turnovers and ensure units are rent-ready within required timelines.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
Maintain building exteriors, interiors, and safety compliance.
