Job summary

MAA Township is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair to keep apartment homes and facilities in good condition. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and locks, and prep apartments for move-in.

Requirements include 1–3 years of multifamily maintenance experience, HVAC experience, EPA Type II or EPA Universal (by hire or within 90 days), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs to ensure apartment homes and facilities are in good working order.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and related components.
• Repair electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures; plumbing and carpentry as needed.
• Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Follow up with residents after repairs are complete to ensure satisfaction.
