Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair across apartment homes and property facilities. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures to keep units in good working order.

We require 1–3 years in multifamily property management or maintenance, HVAC experience, and EPA Type II or Universal certification (or within 90 days).

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required at hire or within 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair on apartment homes and property facilities.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units and electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Address plumbing, carpentry, and lock issues; follow a preventative maintenance schedule.
• Follow up with residents after repairs are complete.
